What do you need for this opportunity?
Must have skills required: AI/ML systems, AI governance frameworks, B2B enterprise product management
Senior Product Manager, Responsible AI
Reports to: Head of Engineering
Function: Product Management — Responsible AI
Experience: 12+ years in enterprise software, including strong product management experience (6+ years) building AI/ML, data, or security products for global markets; hands-on exposure to LLM/GenAI or agentic systems strongly preferred
About The Role
PrivaSapien is building a systems-first trust platform for data, AI, and agents. We are looking for a global Senior Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, accountability, and roadmap for our Responsible AI portfolio across three categories — AI Assessment, Safe AI Inference, and Trusted Agents. These products help enterprises evaluate, secure, and operate AI safely: from agentic red teaming and AI impact assessment, to inline firewalls and guardrails for enterprise LLMs at inference time, to real-time guardrails and controls for autonomous agents and tool calling. You will translate a fast-moving landscape of AI regulation and safety expectations (the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and the OWASP LLM Top 10) into intuitive, scalable capabilities that global enterprises trust to govern their most critical AI systems. This is a true end-to-end, globally scoped ownership role: you are accountable for everything it takes to make the portfolio succeed — strategy, roadmap, delivery, quality, and go-to-market. You will thrive at the intersection of AI/ML engineering, safety and governance, and enterprise customer needs, partnering closely with engineering, applied research, sales, customer success, testing, legal/AI-governance counsel, and go-to-market teams across regions to turn responsible AI from a compliance burden into a strategic competitive advantage. Strong technical grounding in AI/ML or AI governance is highly preferred.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Responsible AI portfolio across AI Assessment, Safe AI Inference, and Trusted Agents.
- Manage the sprint end to end, ensuring on-time completion of every stage: feature prioritization → writing the FRD → FDD → sprint grooming → guiding UX → validating test cases → development tracking → KT → documentation → release notes → sprint retrospective.
- Ensure high-quality products by owning product performance benchmarks — including model evaluation and safety-test harnesses — with optimal infrastructure, a robust bug management process, automated test cases, and code commits gated by quality and security requirements.
- Take complete ownership to build market-leading products by ensuring technical superiority (accurate, low-latency guardrails and assessments), optimized compute needs, ease of use, explainability and debuggability, customer satisfaction, adoption, and renewal.
- Own global analyst relations — lead Gartner and other analyst briefings, inquiries and maintain a sharp view of the competitive landscape, building comparison matrices and training global sales teams on product GTM and competitive strategy.
- Serve as the senior point of accountability and final escalation point for the portfolio across sales (objection handling), customer success (bug fixes and feature commitments), engineering (on-time sprint execution), and marketing (product thought leadership).
- Translate evolving AI regulations and safety frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10) into clear, prioritized product requirements — understanding the technical and regulatory nuances and envisioning industry-leading workflows and integrations.
- Engage global enterprise customers, AI governance and risk leaders, ML/platform teams, and CISOs continuously to deeply understand their workflows, risks, and unmet needs, and turn those insights into a compelling product vision.
- Define and own product success metrics — adoption, activation, retention, and quality (e.g., detection accuracy, false-positive rates, and evaluation and guardrail coverage) — using data to prioritize the roadmap and report outcomes to leadership on a regular cadence.
- Be the chief evangelist for the portfolio — delivering product demos at global events, leading responsible-AI community conversations, writing white papers, and contributing to podcasts and regulatory and standards reviews.
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years in enterprise software, including significant product management experience shipping and scaling enterprise B2B products for global markets.
- Product management experience in AI/ML, GenAI/LLM, AI governance and safety, data privacy and security, or a closely related deeptech area.
- Solid technical foundation to partner credibly with engineering and research on ML/LLM systems, model lifecycle, inference pipelines, model-provider and identity integrations, APIs, and data flows — able to reason about model behavior, evaluation, guardrails, and trade-offs.
- Working knowledge of AI governance and safety frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001) and AI risk concepts such as bias/fairness, red teaming, prompt injection, data leakage, and agentic tool-calling risks.
- Proven experience managing global enterprise customers in AI governance, privacy, or security — across multiple regions and regulatory regimes.
- Demonstrated experience with industry-analyst engagement, especially Gartner — leading briefings and inquiries and influencing market evaluations.
- Demonstrated success owning a product end to end by establishing competitive superiority, a mature bug review process, predictable sprint execution, and accelerated product adoption.
- Track record of taking complete ownership of the product by being the single source of truth for sales, marketing, customer success, and leadership.
- Experience at a B2B product company serving global customers, or at a deeptech/AI startup — having led product management and scaled a product from early stage to meaningful scale.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership — able to influence engineering, research, design, sales, customer success, and executives across geographies without direct authority.
Bonus Points
- Hands-on experience building AI/ML, LLM/GenAI, AI safety, red-teaming, or AI governance products.
- Familiarity with guardrail and firewall approaches for LLMs (privacy, security, safety, and context control) and privacy‑preserving ML (e.g., differential privacy, PII detection/redaction, synthetic data).
- Experience with agentic AI systems — orchestration, tool calling, agent identity and permissioning, and runtime monitoring or red teaming.
- Understanding of MLOps/LLMOps, inference infrastructure, and vector/data pipelines.
- Relevant certifications or background (e.g., ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, AIGP, CIPP/E, CIPM) or a background in ML, security, law, or compliance.
Why This Role
Responsible AI is one of the defining challenges of this era — and at PrivaSapien you'll shape the products that let enterprises assess, secure, and operate AI they can trust. You'll own a strategically critical, globally visible portfolio end to end — across AI Assessment, Safe AI Inference, and Trusted Agents — with real autonomy over strategy, roadmap, delivery, and go-to-market, engaging the world's leading enterprises and analysts along the way. If you want your product decisions to make AI safer for millions of people while turning trust into a durable business advantage, this is the seat to do it from.
