The Senior Product Manager, AI Portfolio, Product & Value (Focus: Commercial) owns AI products for Sensata's commercial organization, starting with Sales and Revenue Operations and extending to Pricing, Marketing and Commercial Finance. Working directly with sellers, account managers, pricing and commercial finance teams, the role maps how work gets done today, pinpoints the real pain points, and shapes AI solutions whose features directly address them. This includes defining what gets built and the first version's scope and acceptance criteria. The role also owns prioritization, business cases and measured value, so solutions move from pilot to production and are used every day.
Own AI products for commercial use cases, starting with Sales and Revenue Operations (e.g., lead triage and routing, opportunity scoring, account insights, next-best-offer) and extending to Pricing, Marketing and Commercial Finance (e.g., quote guidance, pipeline and bookings forecasting, competitor and peer performance intelligence).
Map current workflows with sellers, account managers, pricing, marketing and commercial finance teams. Identify pain points, root causes and where AI can improve decisions or remove manual work.
Translate pain points into product requirements: map AI features against each pain point, write user stories, and define the first version's scope, acceptance criteria and success metrics.
Own the product backlog and roadmap. Prioritize features and make clear trade-offs with AI engineers, data scientists and the AI Architect.
Test solutions with users, run pilots, gather feedback and iterate until the product is adopted in daily work.
Run intake, triage and prioritization for commercial AI use cases, and recommend scale, pivot or stop decisions.
Build business cases with business owners and Finance (baseline, target value, cost). After go-live, track realized value such as revenue growth, win rate, price and margin, pipeline conversion and seller productivity.
Make sure every product has a named business owner, success metrics and an adoption plan before build starts.
Work with AI Governance, AI Enablement, IT and vendors (eg Salesforce) so products clear governance gates and fit into CRM, CPQ and ERP systems. Own business requirements in vendor and build/buy evaluations.
Report product status, value and key decisions to AI leadership and business leaders.
