Job summary

Raise Financial Services is seeking a Product Designer to craft high-impact experiences across digital and offline media for their investment and trading platform, Dhan. You will own complex user journeys, from investment to portfolio dashboards, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver scalable, high-quality designs.

The role requires 5-7 years in Product Design/UX, a strong portfolio, and experience mentoring designers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own and design complex, high-impact product experiences including investment journeys, transaction flows, portfolio dashboards, and discovery interfaces.
• Translate ambiguous product and business challenges into clear, intuitive, scalable user experiences.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Uphold a high design quality bar across the organisation through hands-on execution and review.
• Mentor and guide designers, ensuring consistency and strong design thinking across outputs.
• Scale design systems across products and asset classes and ensure consistency in UX patterns.
• Drive user research, testing, and feedback loops with real investors and convert insights into improvements.
• Balance user experience with business/regulatory constraints in decision-making.

Design is one of the key roles in our organisation. This is how our users will experience our products and we are obsessed with giving the best visual experience to them by shipping beautiful products across all channels - App, Web, and others included.

Product Design at Raise is a custodian of our identity & brand across all channels - Product, Apps, Web, Social Media, Online, Offline and everywhere. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing creative marketing and product designs. Collaborate with teams and efficiently coordinate across all deliverables. Make sure all work maintains the level of quality expected.

You will design a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, highly capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail. You would be accountable for creating interactive programs that enhance a customer’s experience with a brand and facilitate an enjoyable experience on our apps and web interactions. We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and developing their skills in UI/UX design.

Expected Responsibilities

• Own and design complex, high-impact product experiences including investment journeys, transaction flows, portfolio dashboards, and discovery interfaces.
• Translate ambiguous product and business challenges into clear, intuitive, and scalable user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.
• Define and uphold a high design quality bar across the organisation through hands-on execution and review.
• Mentor and guide designers, ensuring consistency, clarity, and strong design thinking across outputs.
• Build design maturity across cross-functional teams, not just within the design function.
• Define, evolve, and scale a robust design system across products and asset classes.
• Ensure consistency in UX patterns, interaction models, and visual language across the platform.
• Drive reusability and scalability in design components and workflows.
• Conduct and drive user research, testing, and feedback loops with real investors.
• Convert insights into actionable product and design improvements.
• Continuously refine experiences based on behavioural and usage data.
• Partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Research, and Business teams.
• Balance user experience, business objectives, regulatory constraints, and technical feasibility in decision-making.
• Contribute to shaping product direction through design-led thinking.
• Own end-to-end design quality including UX, visual polish, and design QA pre and post launch.
• Ensure shipped experiences meet a high standard of usability, clarity, and trust.
• Champion attention to detail across all user-facing surfaces.

Expected Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in Product Design / UX / Interaction Design.
• Strong individual contributor with the ability to independently solve complex product and UX problems.
• Experience mentoring or managing designers while remaining deeply hands-on.
• Proven track record of shipping end-to-end product experiences in high-quality environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating depth of thinking, execution excellence, and ownership.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and fast-paced environments without compromising quality.
• Strong communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions across stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of user behaviour, interaction design, and product psychology
• Experience in fintech, wealthtech, trading platforms, or data-heavy products.
• Strong understanding of information design, data visualization, and complex UI systems.
• Experience designing trust-heavy, high-stakes user journeys (investments, transactions, financial decisioning).
• Exposure to design systems at scale in consumer or financial products.
• Experience in early-stage or fast-scaling startup environments.

Location

Goregaon West, Mumbai (Preference will be given to candidates residing in Mumbai’s Western suburbs).
