Job summary

Align Knowledge Centre is seeking a Senior Product Analytics / BI professional to join the Analytics & Optimization team. The role focuses on using data, analytics and BI to understand product performance and support optimization opportunities.

The ideal candidate is hands-on with Tableau, Power BI and SQL, with experience in dashboard development, data analysis and reporting for stakeholders across Product, Engineering and business units.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Analytics / BI professional to join an Analytics & Optimization team supporting digital payment and checkout services.

The role is focused on using data, analytics and business intelligence to understand product performance, identify trends and anomalies, support optimization opportunities, and provide actionable insights to Product, Engineering and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Tableau, Power BI and SQL, with strong experience in dashboard development, data analysis, reporting and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Tableau and Power BI dashboards for business and product reporting.
• Build complex SQL queries and data extracts for dashboards, reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
• Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, performance gaps and optimization opportunities.
• Perform ad-hoc data pulls and analytical investigations based on business requirements.
• Create and automate recurring monthly reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Perform testing and validation of newly developed dashboards and reports.
• Reconcile dashboard/reporting metrics with source data and ensure data accuracy.
• Translate business and product reporting requirements into technical and data requirements.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders.
• Manage multiple analytics, reporting and dashboard initiatives concurrently.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support product health monitoring, initiative tracking, product enhancement reporting, marketing analytics and new market/partner launch monitoring.

Must-Have Skills

• 5 plus years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Product Analytics or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries for data extraction, analysis and validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing dashboards and converting business requirements into analytical/reporting solutions.
• Experience working with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience in Product Analytics / Business Analytics.
• Experience analyzing product performance and identifying optimization opportunities.
• Experience with KPIs, trends, anomalies and root-cause analysis.
• Experience in payments, fintech, banking, financial services or digital commerce.
• Experience working with large-scale transactional data.
• Experience working in a large/global organization.
• Experience with DAX, Power Query and Power BI data modelling.
• Advanced SQL experience including complex joins, CTEs, window functions and aggregations.

Important Note

This is a hands-on analytics and BI-focused role. Candidates should have demonstrated experience actually building dashboards and performing SQL/data analysis.

Candidates with only traditional Product Management, Project Management, Excel reporting or dashboard consumption experience without strong hands-on Tableau, Power BI and SQL experience may not be suitable.
