Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Senior Product Analyst – MCA to help translate business needs into product enhancements. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Operations, and Technology to drive roadmap execution, capture client requirements, and design scalable solutions that improve client experience and operational efficiency.

You will engage with clients, support RFPs and demos, and contribute to market strategy, while working across Product, Commercial, and Client Success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Management, Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, Securities Reference Data, Market Data, or Managed Services.
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments and managing requirements across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership & Roadmap Execution: Support the MCA product roadmap and strategic initiatives; define, prioritize, and document business requirements, epics, features, and user stories; collaborate with Product Managers, Technology, and Operations to deliver enhancements.
  • Business Analysis & Solution Design: Gather and document client and regulatory requirements; perform gap analyses and produce functional specs, process flows, and solution docs.
  • Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Participate in client discussions, onboarding, solution workshops, RFPs, and product demonstrations; gather client feedback for roadmap decisions.
  • Product Strategy & Commercial Support: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategy and go-to-market efforts; drive product adoption and service expansion.
  • Operational Excellence: Improve workflow efficiency with Operations to enhance automation and data quality; monitor performance metrics and mitigate risks.

The Impact This role sits at the intersection of Product Management, Business Analysis, Client Engagement, and Delivery Execution. You will play a key role in translating business needs, client requirements, and strategic priorities into product enhancements and scalable solutions that improve client experience and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Product Managers, Commercial teams, Operations, and Technology to support roadmap execution while helping identify opportunities to enhance products, expand services, and drive client adoption.

Responsibilities
  • Product Ownership & Roadmap Execution Support the execution of the MCA product roadmap and strategic initiatives. Define, prioritize, and document business requirements, epics, features, and user stories. Partner with Product Managers, Technology, and Operations teams to deliver product enhancements and operational improvements. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, UAT, implementation, and release activities. Ensure business requirements are clearly defined and successfully translated into deliverable solutions.
  • Business Analysis & Solution Design Gather, analyze, and document client, business, operational, and regulatory requirements. Perform business process reviews, gap analysis, and impact assessments. Develop functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and solution documentation. Identify scalable solutions that address client requirements while supporting operational efficiency. Support the development of business cases for new capabilities, datasets, and service enhancements.
  • Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management Participate in client discussions, onboarding activities, solution workshops, and strategic initiatives. Support RFPs, RFIs, due diligence requests, and product demonstrations. Act as a subject matter expert for MCA products, workflows, and managed service capabilities. Gather and prioritize client feedback to support roadmap and service enhancement decisions. Collaborate with Commercial and Client Success teams to ensure client requirements are effectively addressed.
  • Product Strategy & Commercial Support Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support product strategy and roadmap planning. Evaluate client demand, industry trends, and market opportunities. Support go-to-market and commercialization efforts for new products, services, and datasets. Contribute insights that help drive product adoption, service expansion, and business growth.
  • Operational Excellence Partner with Operations teams to improve workflow efficiency, scalability, automation, and data quality. Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. Track product, operational, and client performance metrics. Help identify and mitigate delivery, operational, and client-service risks.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology, or a related discipline. 7-10 years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Management, Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, Securities Reference Data, Market Data, or Managed Services. Strong understanding of: Corporate Actions and Asset Servicing Securities Reference Data Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, and ETF markets Financial Market Infrastructure Data Operations and Managed Services Experience working within Agile delivery environments and managing requirements across the product lifecycle.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively across Product, Commercial, Operations, Technology, and Client-facing teams. Strong documentation, requirements gathering, and solution design skills. Commercial awareness with an interest in product growth, client engagement, and market opportunities. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
