S&P Global is seeking a senior Data Quality leader to govern enterprise‑scale data quality and drive strategy across critical domains. You will partner with Product, Technology and Operations to advance automation, observability, and governance, strengthening data integrity and stakeholder confidence.

The role is being established within the Data Quality organisation of S&P Global's Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) to provide independent, enterprise-wide assurance of data quality. The team is accountable for assessing quality across critical data domains, strengthening governance, and building senior leadership confidence in the integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness of our data assets.

Enterprise-Wide Leadership Impact - Shape and influence data quality strategy across critical business domains, driving outcomes that directly enhance customer trust, business performance, and organisational growth.
Executive Visibility & Stakeholder Engagement - Partner closely with senior leaders across Product, Technology, Operations, and Data leadership teams, with regular exposure to key decision-makers and strategic transformation initiatives.
Global Scope & Cross-Functional Influence - Lead globally distributed teams and collaborate across regions, business units, and data functions to establish scalable governance, quality standards, and best practices at enterprise scale.

Build the Future of Data Quality - Drive the evolution of quality from a control function to a strategic business capability, influencing how one of the world's leading data providers delivers trusted, high-quality data products to customers globally.
Govern domain‑level operations and quality strategy, ensuring consistent execution of controls, RCA discipline, and prevention mechanisms.
Define outcome‑based quality metrics, including defect escape rates, recurrence rates, and control effectiveness measures such as precision and recall.
Establish statistical process controls and trend‑based insights to detect early signs of performance deterioration and quality risk.
Develop scalable sampling models, including stratified and acceptance sampling, to enhance monitoring effectiveness and quality assurance.
Define a standardized evaluation and governance framework for AI/ML/LLM capabilities, incorporating benchmark datasets, scoring rubrics, regression testing, and failure taxonomy.
Background in Finance/Statistics and preferred certifications in data quality (Lean Six Sigma, CIMP, DCAM).
Executive presence with strong influencing and decision‑making capability.
