Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a procurement professional in Mumbai to develop and execute sourcing strategies for construction materials and services. You will lead RFIs/RFPs, drive cost savings, and align procurement with project milestones and budgets.

The role requires 2–4 years of procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and familiarity with Coupa/SAP, Ariba, and Power BI. US shift timing is expected in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 2–4 years of procurement experience, including purchasing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization
• Strong practical experience may offset formal education requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Excel skills include pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and dashboards
• Familiarity with SAP ERP modules such as MM or Ariba is good to have
• Ability to create interactive Power BI dashboards and analyze procurement data is good to have
• Experience with sourcing tools such as Coupa, Jaggaer, or Ariba
• Ability to analyze technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project documentation
• Experience executing end-to-end RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes
• Ability to lead supplier negotiations, evaluate proposals, and secure commercial and contractual terms
• Willingness to work in US shift time
• Mandatory work from Mumbai office while not onsite at client location
