Job summary

Worley invites an experienced Process Engineer Level II to join our team in delivering complex projects across the energy, chemicals and resources sectors. You will perform design calculations, develop PFDs and P&IDs, size equipment and ensure safe, compliant solutions.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers within a dynamic environment. Applicants should have 10+ years in process design for offshore/onshore/refinery contexts, and proficiency with design

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Process design offshore / Onshore / Refinery projects.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Developing skills in design software.
• Competent use of MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process design calculations, simulations, and modelling using industry-standard software tools.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
• Perform process equipment sizing, hydraulic and heat exchanger design, and relief calculations.
• Evaluate and optimize process design for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate designs.
• Participate in project meetings and client discussions.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Purpose

You will provide Process Engineering services to Worley, and its customers and may provide technical support within the Process team.

The Role

As a Process Engineer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• Conduct process design calculations, simulations, and modelling using industry-standard software tools.
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications.
• Perform process equipment sizing, hydraulic and heat exchanger design, and pressure relief calculations.
• Evaluate and optimize process design alternatives to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate process design with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation designs.
• Participate in project meetings, reviews, and technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Process design offshore / Onshore / Refinery projects.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Developing skills in design software.
• Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
• A recognized Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• A recognized Degree in the Chemical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
