Job summary

Dell Technologies seeks a Senior Principal, Software Engineer-IT to lead end-to-end data architecture and complex Salesforce-based solutions. You will prototype, validate patterns, and ensure non-functional requirements are met at scale within a high-impact IT software team.

You will define data models, integration points, and drive DevOps practices (GitLab) while mentoring engineers and delivering scalable data engineering outcomes. This role is based in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• 13–16 years of related experience.
• Extensive Salesforce development experience including SOQL, Apex and Visualforce.
• Strong experience with Lightning UI and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience delivering Salesforce-enabled solutions and complex configurations including workflows and reports.
• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).

• Define data architecture and engineering solutions aligned to business requirements.
• Analyze data from multiple Dell IT applications and model domain entities.

Senior Principal, Software Engineer-IT

• Assess/ analyze data from multitude of Dell IT applications, understand data / domain entity relationships & build appropriate data models
• Define processes, data & system integration points, assess technology alternatives & recommend appropriate solutions for data engineering.

Essential Requirements

• 13-16 years of related experience
• Relevant experience (more than 6 years) with Salesforce development principles and design patterns.
• Relevant Salesforce Development experience with SOQL, APEX and Visualforce Pages, Lightning UI with JavaScript and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience delivering Salesforce enabled business solutions advanced administration, configuration and customization including workflows, approval processes, formulas, custom reports, field & record security.
• Experience automating complex business processes using advanced Salesforce configuration and Apex/ Visual Force/Lightning Components coding (batches, triggers, controllers, code test coverage, custom presentation),
  Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab.
