Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the development of sophisticated systems aligned with customer goals in Bangalore/Pune. You will work on Data Protection Software Engineering, developing software across on-prem, public cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will define intent, author precise specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions, with emphasis on scalability and test strategies for complex storage systems.

Essential Requirements

• 8-11 Years of experience in programming with C, C++, Win 32, Storage API, Windows, Linux, Unix Programming, Storage.
• Experience in Windows, Linux & Aix operating systems & relevant File systems.
• Experience in DataPath, Filesystem or DPDK is good to have.
• Experience with AI technologies and proficient usage of AI copilots for all facets of SDLC.
• Experience in Data Protection domain, Scalable Architecture, virtualization platforms like Esxi or Hyper-V

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in Python scripting & CI-CD, Java is plus.
• Experience in Storage domain will be a plus.
