Job summary

Dell Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Principal, Software Engineer-IT to lead high-impact initiatives, owning end-to-end architecture and guiding complex integration strategies. You will prototype solutions, validate patterns, and ensure non-functional requirements are met at scale.

You will join a team focused on turning business requirements into technology solutions, coding, testing, and documenting procedures for use while continuously seeking quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce development principles and design patterns.
• Experience delivering Salesforce-enabled business solutions including advanced administration, configuration and customization.
• Proficiency with SOQL, APEX, Visualforce, Lightning UI and LWC.
• Experience automating complex business processes using Salesforce configuration and Apex/VisualForce/Lightning Components; CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.

Senior Principal, Software Engineer-IT

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• Understand business requirements and define suitable data architecture & engineering solutions.
• Assess/ analyze data from multitude of Dell IT applications, understand data / domain entity relationships & build appropriate data models
• Define processes, data & system integration points, assess technology alternatives & recommend appropriate solutions for data engineering.

Essential Requirements

• 13-16 years of related experience
• Relevant experience (more than 6 years) with Salesforce development principles and design patterns.
• Relevant Salesforce Development experience with SOQL, APEX and Visualforce Pages, Lightning UI with JavaScript and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience delivering Salesforce enabled business solutions advanced administration, configuration and customization including workflows, approval processes, formulas, custom reports, field & record security.
• Experience automating complex business processes using advanced Salesforce configuration and Apex/ Visual Force/Lightning Components coding (batches, triggers, controllers, code test coverage, custom presentation),
  Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab.
