Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of hardware design experience in power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC, UPS, DC/AC) and hands-on circuit design with MOSFETs/IGBTs and Power Management ICs.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Power Electronics with knowledge in power electronics circuit design and development.
• 3–6 years of hardware design experience in power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC, UPS, DC/AC).
• Experience using industry standard bricks, MOSFETs, IGBTs, and Power Management ICs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Switch Mode Power Supplies and power conversion units for high-reliability applications.
• Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware teams to design, validate, prototype, and manufacture power converters.
• Prepare product documentation and acceptance test plans per standards.

Hardware Design Engineer-Power Electronics

Location : Bangalore/Coimbatore.

3 to 6 yrs

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and Development of Switch Mode Power Supply / Power Conversion Units products for Hi-Reliability application.
• Should be involved in circuit design, procurement, prototyping, testing and qualification of the Power Conversion Circuits and Systems.
• To work with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware engineering teams to successfully design, validate, prototyping and manufacture power converters.
• To prepare and follow Product documentation, Acceptance Test plans as per Customer and Product standards as per design process.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electronics /Power Electronics with thorough knowledge and experience in power electronics circuits design and development.
• 3 to 6 years of relevant hardware design development experience in power converter (AC/DC, DC/DC, UPS & DC/AC)
• Experience in designing circuits using Industry standard Bricks, MOSFETs, IGBTs, Power Management ICs .
• Experience in product testing, reliability analysis and qualification of power supplies/power electronics circuits to Military / Railway Standards (EMI/EMC and Environmental).
