Job summary

Persistent is seeking an experienced Senior PLM Developer in Pune with 8-12 years of PLM expertise, focusing on Oracle Agile PLM and exposure to Siemens Teamcenter and/or PTC Windchill. You will design, develop, customize, integrate, and support enterprise PLM solutions as part of transformation initiatives.

You will build integrations with ERP, CAD, MES, and other enterprise applications, develop REST APIs, configure workflows, and lead data migration and testing activities to ensure successful

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of PLM development, customization, and support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Agile PLM.

• Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE.

• Knowledge of SQL, database design and development concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and support Oracle Agile PLM solutions for enterprise processes.
• Develop and enhance Agile SDK-based customizations, PXs, and Event Framework components.
• Configure and customize workflows, approvals, and lifecycle management processes.
• Support PLM transformation and migration from Oracle Agile PLM to Teamcenter or Windchill.
• Develop integrations between PLM systems and ERP, CAD, MES, and manufacturing systems.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, web services, and middleware integrations.
• Develop custom reports, dashboards, automation solutions, and data exchange interfaces.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical estimation.
• Perform data migration, validation, and reconciliation during modernization projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, workflow, and performance issues.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Support testing activities including unit, system integration, and UAT.
• Prepare technical design documents and deployment guides.
• Collaborate with architects and business users to deliver PLM solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Senior PLM Developer with 8-12 years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms, specifically Oracle Agile PLM, with exposure to Siemens Teamcenter and/or PTC Windchill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting enterprise PLM solutions while contributing to PLM transformation, migration, and modernization initiatives.

What You'll Do:

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 8 to 12 years of experience in PLM development, customization, and support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Agile PLM.
• Expertise in Agile SDK, Process Extensions (PX), Event Framework, and Workflow Configuration.
• Experience developing integrations for Oracle Agile PLM using APIs and web services.
• Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE.
• Experience developing REST APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of SQL, database design, and database development concepts.
• Experience supporting PLM migration and modernization initiatives.
• Exposure to Siemens Teamcenter and/or PTC Windchill platforms.
• Understanding of Teamcenter BMIDE, ITK Development, and Active Workspace customization is preferred.
• Knowledge of Windchill customization, configuration, workflow development, and administration.
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and best practices.
• Experience with Product Data Management (PDM), BOM Management, and Product Structure Management.
• Knowledge of Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and change management processes.
• Experience with Document Management and product lifecycle workflows.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
