Job summary

SID Information Technologies is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and operate scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-native platforms. You will automate provisioning with Terraform, build CI/CD pipelines, and support DataOps workflows across US and India—ensuring secure access and reliable deployment.

You will contribute to architecture discussions, mentor engineers, and work in a hybrid in-office setup to enable delivery of healthcare-focused platform solutions.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering roles.
• Hands-on AWS cloud-native app experience.
• AWS services including ECS/Fargate, Lambda, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Redshift, Glue, Neptune, VPC.
• Terraform IaC experience.
• Docker and container deployments.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI/Codefresh.
• Python or Go scripting.
• Linux administration and shell scripting.
• DataOps workflows and production data pipelines.
• HIPAA-adjacent regulated environments handling PHI-sensitive infra.
• Identity & Access Management (Okta, OIDC/JWT, RBAC).
• Frontend deployment and data platform experience.
• CI/CD systems and production release management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-native platforms.
• Support and operate cloud-native software on containerized and serverless platforms.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for application, infrastructure, and data platform deployments.
• Support DataOps workflows including orchestration, ingestion, transformation, monitoring, and reliability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and IaC practices.
• Develop automation scripts and operational tooling using Python and shell scripting.
• Manage observability, logging, alerting, and operational monitoring across distributed systems.
• Implement secure access controls, IAM policies, secrets management, and governance best practices.
• Support AWS data platform services including Redshift, Glue, Neptune, and APIs.
• Participate in troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, and production support.
• Collaborate closely with distributed engineering teams across US and India.
• Participate in architecture discussions and mentor engineers on platform engineering best practices.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

• 7–10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DataOps, or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience supporting cloud-native applications in AWS environments
• Strong experience with AWS services including ECS/Fargate, Lambda, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Redshift, Glue, Neptune, and VPC networking
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized application deployments
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and/or Codefresh
• Strong coding and automation experience, preferably in Python
• Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting
• Experience supporting modern application platforms, APIs, and production deployments
• Experience supporting DataOps workflows and production data pipelines
• Experience working in regulated or HIPAA-adjacent environments handling PHI-sensitive infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Data Platform and Frontend Deployment Experience

• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
