Job summary

adesso orange AG is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to support and automate a modern AWS-based data platform. The role focuses on DevOps excellence, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, IaC, and platform operations to keep the data stack reliable and scalable.

You will design, build, and maintain pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions; develop Terraform modules; manage AWS services (EKS, RDS, MSK); supervise Kafka clusters; and collaborate with data teams using Snowflake, dbt

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Amazon EKS, Amazon RDS, and AWS MSK.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka administration and troubleshooting.
• Operational knowledge of Snowflake, including warehouse management, automation, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

This role involves managing cloud infrastructure, supporting data platform technologies, and driving automation across the engineering ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
