Job summary

Sunstone Education is seeking a dynamic Senior Placement Officer to bridge academia and industry, driving campus recruitment and strategic partnerships. You will guide students toward career opportunities and work with corporates to secure placement and internship drives.

You will lead end-to-end placement processes, mentor students on resume building and interview skills, and maintain robust tracking of placement metrics to inform management decisions.

• Proven track record of campus placements with reputed companies.
• Experience in end-to-end placement processes: pre-placement talks, tests, group discussions, and interviews.
• Ability to build and manage partnerships with industry and track placement metrics.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and expand relationships with top-tier companies, MNCs, startups, and industry leaders.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end placement activities including pre-placement talks, tests, GDs, and interviews.
• Mentor students on resume building, interview prep, and professional etiquette; conduct mock interviews and career counseling.
• Maintain databases of partners, placement statistics, and student tracking metrics; report insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Corporate Relations & Networking:
  
  • Leverage your extensive industry network to build, nurture, and expand relationships with top-tier companies, MNCs, startups, and industry leaders.
  • Pitch the institution's talent pool to prospective employers and secure lucrative placement and internship drives.
• Placement Strategy & Execution:
  
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the end-to-end placement process, including pre-placement talks, written tests,group discussions, and personal interviews.
  • Achieve high placement conversion rates and meet or exceed institutional placement targets.
• Student Mentorship & Skill Development:
  
  • Collaborate with academic and training teams to identify industry skill gaps and guide students on resume building, interview preparation, and professional etiquette.
  • Conduct mock interviews and career counseling sessions to boost student employability and confidence.
• Data Management & Reporting:
  
  • Maintain comprehensive databases of recruiting partners, placement statistics, CTC packages, and student tracking metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports and insights for management regarding placement trends and feedback from recruiters.
• Brand Building:
  
  • Represent the institution at corporate forums, HR conclaves, and industry events to enhance the brand visibility of the institute and its graduates
