PMECH seeks a Senior Piping Stress Engineer in Navi Mumbai with 10+ years of experience in pipe stress analysis. The candidate will perform CAESAR II analyses per ASME B31.3/31.4/31.8, assess sustained, thermal and dynamic loads, and ensure robust piping design around pumps, turbines, exchangers, and PSVs.

The role requires coordinating with layout, civil, vendors, and construction teams to finalize routing, supports, and documentation for EPC projects.

Competenze

• B.E / B.Tech Mechanical required.
• 10+ years of piping stress analysis experience.
• Experience with ASME B31.x standards (B31.3, B31.4, B31.8).

• Analyze sustained, thermal, operating, occasional (wind/seismic), and dynamic loads (water hammer, surge).

• Resolve high nozzle loads and secondary stresses; perform trunnion and jacketed piping analysis.
• Design and select pipe supports including spring hangers; provide pipe load data to civil/structural teams.

• Coordinate with layout, civil, vendors, and construction teams for routing and support resolution.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe stress and flexibility analysis using CAESAR II as per ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8.
• Analyze sustained, thermal, operating, occasional (wind/seismic), and dynamic loads (water hammer, surge).
• Conduct stress analysis for piping connected to pumps, compressors, turbines, exchangers, vessels, and PSVs.
• Resolve high nozzle loads and secondary stresses; perform trunnion and jacketed piping analysis.
• Design and select pipe supports including spring hangers; provide pipe load data to civil/structural teams.
• Review piping isometrics, prepare critical line lists, and complete stress analysis documentation.
• Coordinate with layout, civil, vendors, and construction teams for routing and support resolution.

Technical Required Skills

• Proficient in CAESAR II, working knowledge of ROHR2, PRG Nozzle PRO, and FE-Bend.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31, API 610/617/662, and NEMA SM-23 standards.
• Experience in pipe support design, flange leakage checks, and expansion loop optimization.
• Good understanding of piping flexibility, equipment protection, and multidisciplinary coordination.
