Responsibilities

Senior Performance Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Performance Engineer to help ensure our enterprise applications deliver the performance, reliability, and scalability that modern retail operations demand.

You'll collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to identify bottlenecks, validate system performance, and drive improvements across complex, interconnected applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform load tests to validate system performance and stability
• Analyze test results and work with Developers and Engineers to perform bug fixes
• Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability
• Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions
• Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements
• Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements
• Generate periodic performance reports for management review

Experience & Education

• 4 to 8 years of Performance Engineering, preferably in a Software product company. And at least 1 + years of experience as a Senior
• Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering / Computer Applications

Technical Skills

• Ability to program with one OO programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++
• Good knowledge on any one of the scripting languages such as Shell, Python
• Good understanding of one Database either RDBMS or NoSQL
• Good Knowledge of Performance Engineering, Testing and Performance results analysis
• A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
