Job summary

Agiliad LLC in Pune, India seeks an experienced PCB Design Engineer with 4–6 years of hands-on PCB design and development experience. You will craft schematics, footprints, and layouts for analog, digital, mixed-signal, high-speed, power, and RF boards, adhering to IPC standards and EMI/EMC considerations.

You will manage ECAD libraries, perform DFM/DFT checks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that meet stringent product specifications.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and proactive PCB design professional.
• 4–6 years of relevant PCB design and development experience.
• Strong knowledge of IPC standards and EMI/EMC design practices.
• Experience with multilayer board design and high-speed interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schematic symbols and PCB footprints per IPC standards.
• Manage ECAD library and perform layout following guidelines.
• Design high-speed, analog, digital, and RF boards with power considerations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product specs.
• Generate Gerber and assembly files; prepare BOMs and DFM checks.
• Ensure signal integrity, impedance matching, and thermal management.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Preparing Schematic Symbols, PCB Footprints as per IPC Standard or Industry Standards.
• Hands on experience in ECAD Library management.
• Experience is Analog, Digital, Mixed signal, High Speed and power supply board designs.
• Design PCB layout in accordance with IPC and standard guidelines.
• Good knowledge of IPC standards and EMI/EMC design considerations.
• Experience of multilayer board design ( 6 layers and above) board design.
• Experience in High power board designs.
• Experience in High-Speed Board Design (USB, RS-485, CAN, Ethernet, PCIe).
• Experience in RF board design (Bluetooth, Wi-fi).
• Experience in board stack up selection, length matching, Impedance matching, constraint setting, cross talk analysis, signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Thermal management.
• Create/Follow checklists and instructions to ensure error free design.
• Thorough knowledge of Design Rules, Constraint management.
• Good knowledge of Gerber files generation, assembly files creation and preparing specifications for PCB Fabrication Vendors.
• Hands-on experience in PADS Layout, OrCAD Allegro tools.
• Understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes (DFM, DFA, DFT).
• Selection of components, preparing schematics with the help of Hardware Design Engineer
• Hands on experience on preparing bills of materials (BOM).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement PCB designs that meet product specifications
• Hands-on experience with PLM tools such as Agile.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and support global clients and cross-functional teams.
