Job summary

La Bake Amore, a leading baking education institute, seeks a driven Senior Pastry Chef Instructor to lead hands-on and theory sessions, develop curricula, and mentor aspiring pastry professionals.

The role focuses on culinary excellence, student evaluation, and creating a professional learning environment with in-person training and interviews. This position is ideal for a seasoned baker who wants to educate the next generation of pastry chefs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hotel Management with bakery or pâtisserie specialization.
• Baking/Pâtisserie certificate or diploma accepted.
• Previous pastry chef or baking instructor experience preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in bakery and pâtisserie.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardise new recipes, products and baking techniques.
• Design, update and improve course curriculum and training modules.
• Conduct hands-on practical and theory training sessions.
• Demonstrate professional baking and pâtisserie techniques to students.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Plan and manage day-to-day kitchen and training operations.
• Maintain consistent standards of product quality, presentation and execution.

We are looking for a driven, skilled and creative Senior Pastry Chef Instructor who combines strong technical expertise with a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and standardise new recipes, products and baking techniques
• Design, update and improve course curriculum and training modules

• Degree in Hotel Management with a specialisation/interest in Bakery & Pâtisserie, or a relevant Baking/Pâtisserie certificate or diploma
• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Baking Instructor is preferred, but talented candidates with strong fundamentals may also be considered
