Job summary

Mobolutions in Chennai seeks an experienced Senior Operations Manager to drive delivery excellence across IT consulting engagements. You will own resource allocation, utilization management, workforce planning, governance, and delivery support to ensure timely, efficient project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational management across multiple IT consulting engagements.
• Drive resource allocation, capacity planning, and utilization to maximize billability and efficiency.
• Partner with Delivery Managers, Practice Heads, and HR to forecast resource demand and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Monitor resource utilization, bench management, and workforce optimization.
• Track and report KPIs including utilization, staffing, revenue leakage, and productivity.
• Establish governance mechanisms to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Collaborate with recruitment to align hiring plans with demand.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Manage cross-functional coordination between Delivery, Sales, HR, Finance, and PMO.
• Prepare management dashboards and MIS reports for leadership reviews.
• Ensure adherence to policies, compliance, and standards.
• Support business planning, resource forecasting, budgeting, and growth initiatives.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across our IT consulting business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resource allocation, utilization management, workforce planning, operational governance, and delivery support across multiple technology projects. Experience in managing operations for SAP consulting engagements will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational management across multiple IT consulting engagements.
• Drive resource allocation, capacity planning, and utilization to maximize billability and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Delivery Managers, Practice Heads, and HR to forecast resource demand and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Monitor resource utilization, bench management, and workforce optimization.
• Track and report key operational KPIs, including utilization, project staffing, revenue leakage, and productivity metrics.
• Establish governance mechanisms to ensure smooth execution of delivery operations.
• Collaborate with recruitment teams to align hiring plans with business demand.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Manage cross-functional coordination between Delivery, Sales, HR, Finance, and PMO teams.
• Prepare management dashboards and MIS reports for leadership reviews.
