About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Operations Associate (Legal) to lead and manage mediation and online dispute resolution initiatives on a fast‑growing dispute resolution platform. This role requires a legal professional who can combine subject‑matter expertise in ADR/ODR with operational leadership, manage complex mediation cases, and contribute to strategic initiatives in dispute resolution.

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and passionate about improving access to justice through innovative dispute resolution mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong subject‑matter expertise in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) and serve as an internal resource for mediation‑related matters.
• Track, analyze, and interpret evolving mediation frameworks, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conceptualize and lead end‑to‑end mediation and dispute resolution initiatives, including defining success metrics and timelines.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of mediation cases on the platform while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely resolution.
• Act as the primary escalation point for mediators and parties, handling complex cases and ensuring high service standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to design and implement mediation strategies, institutional programs, and long‑term initiatives.
• Analyze structured feedback and operational data to drive process, policy, and platform improvements.
• Build and manage relationships with mediators, institutions, courts, and ecosystem partners.
• Oversee mediator empanelment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation frameworks.
• Represent the organization in mediation forums, policy discussions, and industry events.

Skills & Qualifications

• LLB or LLM degree.
• 3–5 years of experience, preferably in ADR, mediation, legal operations, or dispute resolution.
• Strong legal drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a passion for people‑centric dispute resolution.
