Job summary

ECI, a global provider of managed services and cybersecurity, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Network Engineer Implementation to join our Global Implementations team. You will design and deploy enterprise network infrastructures (on-prem and cloud) for clients worldwide, ensuring performance, security, and scalability in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience, CCNP, and strong expertise in Cisco Nexus, BGP/OSPF, Palo Alto and FortiGate;

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying network infrastructures (on-prem and cloud).
• Strong expertise in Cisco Nexus, BGP and OSPF.
• Experience with Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls.
• Hands-on with SD-WAN and Cisco FTD.
• Excellent written and oral communication; team mentoring.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Network Engineer Implementation to join our team. The Senior Network Engineer will be part of the Global Implementations team which is responsible to design and deploy network infrastructures(both on-prem and cloud) for our clients (distributed globally), ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

This is a Hybrid role.

The candidate must be willing to work during shift 3 PM IST - 12 AM IST.

What you will do

• Design, implement and provide support for all network-related hardware/software
• Assist with defining the objectives of network implementations including developing and reviewing proposals and presentations by collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.
• Installing and configuring networking hardware/Virtual Networking equipment.
• Undertake any network projects and strive to deliver within the deadline. Document technical details of the project and comply with the organization’s Professional services Workflow.
• Participate and engage in internal and external calls with peers and clients.
• Managing and mentoring junior Network Engineering staff.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years of relevant work experience with exposure in product organizations
• CCNP
• Advance routing and switching knowledge. Expert in Cisco Nexus switching, BGP and OSPF protocols.
• Ability to design enterprise networks.
• Knowledge and experience in public cloud technologies - AWS/GCP/Azure
• Expert in Palo Alto firewalls. Global Protect design and implementation with certificates, VPNs, Failover, SSL decryption, content filtering etc.
• FortiGate and Cisco FTD experience
• Experience with Cisco traditional and SDWAN routers, catalyst, and Nexus switches
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building and managing expectations.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, in a fast-paced team environment.
• Sharp attention to detail with proven analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective time management and excellent prioritization skills

Bonus points if you have

• CCIE a plus
• Experience with Sonicwall N/W devices
• Financial Services Industry experience
