Job summary

ECI is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join the Global Implementations team in Bengaluru. You will design and deploy networks across on‑prem and cloud environments, ensuring security, performance, and scalability. The role is onsite with a shift 3 PM IST to 12 AM IST and requires leading projects and mentoring others.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in networking, CCNP, and hands‑on AWS/GCP/Azure experience, plus Palo Alto and FortiGate expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in networking with product organizations.
• CCNP certification and hands-on expertise in enterprise network design.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support network infrastructures (on‑prem and cloud).
• Lead proposals and collaborate with architects to deploy scalable networks.
• Install/configure networking gear and document technical details.
• Deliver projects on time and mentor junior engineers.
• Participate in client calls and internal reviews to ensure outcomes.

The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experiencedSenior Network Engineer Implementationto join ourteam. The Senior Network Engineer will be part of the Global Implementations team which is responsible to design and deploy network infrastructures(both on-prem and cloud) for our clients (distributed globally) , ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

The candidate must be willing to work during shift 3 PM IST - 12 AM IST.

What you will do:

• Design, implement and provide support for all network-related hardware/software
• Assist with defining the objectives of network implementations including developing and reviewing proposals and presentations by collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.
• Installing and configuring networking hardware/Virtual Networking equipment.
• Undertake any network projects and strive to deliver within the deadline. Document technical details of the project and comply with the organization’s Professional services Workflow.
• Participate and engage in internal and external calls with peers and clients.
• Managing and mentoring junior Network Engineering staff.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years of relevant work experience with exposure in product organizations
• CCNP
• Advance routing and switching knowledge. Expert in Cisco Nexus switching, BGP and OSPF protocols.
• Ability to design enterprise networks.
• Knowledge and experience in public cloud technologies - AWS/GCP/Azure
• Expert in Palo Alto firewalls. Global Protect design and implementation with certificates, VPNs, Failover, SSL decryption, content filtering etc.
• FortiGate and Cisco FTD experience
• Experience with Cisco traditional and SDWAN routers, catalyst, and Nexus switches
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building and managing expectations.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, in a fast-paced team environment.
• Sharp attention to detail with proven analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective time management and excellent prioritization skills

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with Sonicwall N/W devices
• Financial Services Industry experience
