Job summary

Redington Group in Chennai is seeking an experienced Firewall & Network Security specialist to troubleshoot complex security issues, analyze traffic, and manage NAT, VPNs and security policies across multi‑vendor environments. Hands-on firewall experience and strong analytical skills are essential.

You will work with customers for issue resolution, handle escalations from L1, support implementation and change activities, and use packet capture tools like Wireshark or tcpdump to identify root

Qualifications

• Minimum hands-on experience with a firewall platform (Palo Alto, Fortigate, Check Point or Cisco ASA).
• Proficient in VLANs, STP, OSPF and BGP basics for troubleshooting switching/routing.
• Experience in packet capture analysis and traffic flow understanding (Wireshark/tcpdump).
• Experience implementing NAT, VPN and security policies.

Required Skills:

Mandatory Certifications:

• PCNSE / NSE4 / CCNP Security / CCSA (any one preferred, PCNSE is an advantage)
• CCNA (must)
