Job summary

Datacore Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an Azure Networking Architect to design and implement hybrid cloud networks, emphasizing security, scalability and performance.

You will configure VNets, ExpressRoute, NSGs, and integrate on-premises systems, while driving IaC automation with PowerShell, Terraform and GitHub. Lead engineering efforts and mentor juniors, communicating strategy to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Azure networking services (VNets, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, ExpressRoute) required.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, routing and switching fundamentals.
• Experience with security best practices including micro-segmentation, WAF and DDoS protection.
• Familiarity with automation tools like PowerShell, Terraform and GitHub.
• Knowledge of ITIL/DevOps processes and change management.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design blueprints for Azure networks integrating on-premises and cloud for security, scalability and performance.
• Configure VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Application Gateways, Azure Firewall and ExpressRoute.
• Configure NVAs and other networking appliances; collaborate with security engineers.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance; manage costs.
• Establish secure hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-prem data centers (ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site VPN).
• Automate deployment and management using IaC and related tools.
• Mentor junior staff and present technical strategies to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain detailed network designs and compliance docs.

Design & Architecture

Develop blueprints for Azure networks, integrating on-premises and cloud environments, focusing on security, scalability, and performance.

Implementation

Configure Azure services like VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Application Gateways, Azure Firewall, Azure Route Tables, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute. Configure NVAs like Palo Alto, Zscaler, Infoblox, other Networking Appliances are plus point. Experience with Coding/Scripting is a plus. (Python, PowerShell, Terraform, etc.)

Security

Implement zero-trust principles, network segmentation, and security policies to meet compliance standards.

Performance & Optimization

Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and manage costs.

Hybrid Connectivity

Establish secure, high-performance connections between Azure and on-premises data centers (e.g., ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site VPNs).

Automation

Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools for deployment and management.

Collaboration & Leadership
