Job summary

Secure Minds is seeking an Azure Network Engineer (DevOps & Terraform) to architect, design, and implement secure, highly available network solutions in Microsoft Azure. You will work on VNets, subnets, RBAC, ExpressRoute and more, with a focus on automation and Cloud DevOps practices.

You will troubleshoot, optimize performance, and lead design discussions with stakeholders while collaborating with software teams to document architectures and SOPs, in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems engineering and architecture experience in Azure and Terraform
• Strong verbal communication: explain complex topics to developers and executives
• Leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive technical decisions
• Experience in Agile environments and producing design docs, SOPs and knowledge articles

Job description

We're hiring an Azure Network Engineer (DevOps & Terraform) to architect, design and implement highly available, secure network solutions in Microsoft Azure -- including VNets, subnets, RBAC, Kubernetes, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, AI/ML resources, Route Tables, NAT Gateways/Firewalls and ExpressRoute -- for a long-term engagement.

The role covers proactive troubleshooting and performance optimisation of the cloud network environment, leading stakeholder discussions on design decisions and progress, collaborating with software engineering teams on infrastructure/deployment requirements, and producing network design documentation, SOPs and knowledge articles.

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of Azure networking: peering, RBAC, Azure AI & Machine Learning resources, Azure Analytics resources, Azure Compute resources, Virtual Network, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, ExpressRoute
• Azure DevOps / Terraform experience
• Strong verbal communication -- explaining complex technical topics to varied audiences (developers to business executives)
• Leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams, driving consensus on technical decisions
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, able to troubleshoot complex cloud environments independently and in a team
• 3+ years of directly relevant systems engineering and architecture experience -- requirements definition, architecture development, use cases/stories, systems integration & test, cloud architecture/design/implementation/operations/automation in Azure and Terraform, in an Agile environment
