Persistent Systems Limited is seeking a Senior .NET SDET to join our Quality Engineering team in Hyderabad. You will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and enterprise applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery and continuous improvement of testing practices.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of experience in software testing and strong expertise in .NET, Selenium, REST APIs, and CI/CD.

• Strong Selenium WebDriver expertise and API testing experience.

AboutPosition:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our growing Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and enterprise systems. This role requires expertise in .NET technologies, Selenium automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and cloud platforms to ensure high-quality software delivery and continuous improvement of testing practices.

• Participate in Selenium framework setup and integration with development environments.
• Design, develop, and enhance scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and enterprise applications.

ExpertiseYou'llBring:

• 6-8 years of experience in Software Testing, Test Automation, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C#.
• Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and test automation architecture.
• Experience with API testing using Rest Assured or similar API automation frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with automated testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and service‑level testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of performance, scalability, and load‑testing approaches.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience using source control systems such as Git.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience participating in code reviews and following coding standards.
