Interpath in Gurugram, India, is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our Business Applications team. The role is hands-on, designing, developing and supporting critical applications across modern and legacy .NET platforms.

You will be working at Interpath to modernise applications, improve reliability, and collaborate with business stakeholders while applying secure-by-design practices and contributing to cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and .NET stack.
• Experience maintaining ASP.NET MVC applications and SQL Server.
• Proficiency building and consuming REST APIs and integrating systems.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and production support.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our Business Applications team in India.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design, develop and support business-critical applications used across the firm. You'll work across both modern and legacy .NET applications, contributing to new development while enhancing and maintaining existing systems that are relied upon every day.

You'll be joining at an exciting stage of our technology journey as we continue to modernise our application landscape and expand our use of cloud technologies. Beyond writing great code, you'll help improve engineering standards, influence best practices and contribute to building secure, reliable and maintainable solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, test and maintain applications using C# and the Microsoft .NET platform.
• Deliver enhancements and new functionality across both modern and legacy applications.
• Take ownership of software delivery from requirements through to production release.
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis and implement preventative improvements.
• Improve application reliability through better diagnostics, logging and supportability.
• Design and build secure, maintainable and scalable software using secure-by-design principles.
• Develop and consume REST APIs and integrations between business systems.
• Support the migration of applications from IIS-hosted environments to Azure App Services.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering quality and consistency.
• Share knowledge, mentor colleagues and promote good software engineering practices across the team.

What We're Looking For

You’ll have strong commercial experience of min 5 Years+ in most of the following:

• C# and Microsoft .NET
• Supporting and maintaining ASP.NET MVC applications
• Microsoft SQL Server, including queries, views and stored procedures
• Building and consuming REST APIs
• Supporting production systems and troubleshooting live issues
• Working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud migration projects
• Microsoft Entra ID / identity and authentication
• Automated testing practices
• AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
