Senior .NET Developer – Gurugram, India

The Business Applications team seeks a Senior .NET Developer to strengthen our in‑house capability, deliver both modern and legacy solutions, and shape our future cloud strategy.
Job Summary
This hands‑on role requires an experienced full‑stack .NET developer who takes ownership, applies strong engineering discipline, collaborates with technical teams and business stakeholders, and focuses on secure‑by‑design development.
Responsibilities
- End‑to‑end software delivery: build, change, and improve.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET applications, ensuring maintainability and adherence to standards.
- Live‑systems support: diagnose issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventative fixes.
- Assist with cloud migration of IIS‑hosted applications to Azure App Services and contribute to cloud‑aligned practices.
- Apply secure coding practices and participate in security‑focused peer reviews.
- Mentor teammates, conduct code reviews, and promote quality and efficient ways of working.
Qualifications
- Senior‑level .NET engineering experience with C# and the Microsoft .NET stack, and ability to work with both new development and existing codebases.
- Web development experience: ASP.NET Core and legacy ASP.NET MVC, with a solid grasp of front‑end fundamentals.
- Experience with Blazor Server or component libraries.
- SQL Server and data competence: queries, views, stored procedures, performance, maintainability, and safe change practices.
- API design and consumption, secure integration concepts, and supportable interfaces.
- Engineering standards and delivery discipline: SDLC practices, debugging, documentation, peer review, code quality, maintainability, and technical communication.
- Experience supporting live systems, improving reliability through diagnostics and logging.
- Implementing authentication/authorization using Microsoft identity platform/Entra ID.
- Security‑conscious development: OWASP‑aligned secure‑by‑design principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline design and improvement.
- Cloud migration experience to Azure App Services.
- Unit and integration testing implementation.
- Experience with AI‑assisted development tools.
