Job summary

Clover Infotech in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA to manage and optimize enterprise databases, ensure HA/DR readiness, and drive automation of provisioning, patching and upgrades.

You will design and implement HA solutions (Always On AGs, Replication, Mirroring), perform performance tuning, work with Query Store, and handle security, backups, migrations across on-prem and cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure).

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge in SQL Server database administration.
• Ability to automate provisioning, patching and upgrades for SQL Server DBs.
• Strong understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options.
• Experience in designing HA solutions (Always On AGs, Distributed AGs, replication, mirroring).
• Proficient in SQL Server cluster administration and security features.
• Skilled in performance tuning and query optimization (Query Store, Profiles).
• Familiar with SQL Server versions 2019+ and cloud hosting (OCI, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with backups, restores and migration of databases.
• Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and Unix/Linux/Windows.
• Awareness of Agile practices and modern automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, ArgoCD).

• Excellent knowledge in automating SQLServer DB admin routine tasks like Provisioning ,Patching and Upgrades.
• Excellent knowledge in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
