Job summary

Next Level Business Services Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Model Developer to support the Marketing Analytics function for a leading US-based bank. You will build, refine and monitor predictive models for customer acquisition, cross-sell and campaign response, collaborating with US stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 4–9 years of predictive modeling experience, strong Python/SAS/SQL skills, and a proven ability to manage end-to-end modeling projects in a fast-paced environment from Gurugram.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance statistical and machine learning models for customer acquisition, propensity, cross-sell and campaign response.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive MDRs, documenting model methodology, data preparation, variable selection, assumptions, performance evaluation, limitations and implementation considerations.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, variable selection and model development using large customer and transactional datasets.
• Apply appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques, including regression, classification and tree-based algorithms.
• Conduct model performance evaluation, back-testing, monitoring and recalibration.
• Develop comprehensive model documentation covering methodology, assumptions, validation results and limitations.
• Collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Present modeling results, business insights and recommendations to US-based stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Senior Model Developers to support the Marketing Analytics function of a leading US-based bank. The role involves developing, enhancing and monitoring predictive models to support customer acquisition, cross-selling, customer engagement and marketing decision-making.

The ideal candidate should possess strong statistical modeling expertise, hands-on programming skills and the ability to independently manage modeling assignments while collaborating with US-based stakeholders.

Location-Gurugram

Shift timing- 1 PM 10 PM

Both Side Cab facility will be provided

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance statistical and machine learning models for customer acquisition, propensity, cross-sell and campaign response.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive Model Development Reports (MDRs), documenting model methodology, data preparation, variable selection, assumptions, performance evaluation, limitations and implementation considerations.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, variable selection and model development using large customer and transactional datasets.
• Apply appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques, including regression, classification and tree-based algorithms.

Required skills and experience

• 4–9 years of relevant experience in predictive modeling, statistical analytics or data science.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python, SAS and SQL, with advanced expertise in at least one statistical programming language.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, regression, classification and model evaluation.
• Experience working with large datasets, data preparation and feature engineering.
• Ability to independently manage end-to-end model development assignments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial services, particularly marketing analytics.
• Experience developing customer propensity, acquisition, cross-sell, retention or campaign response models.
• Familiarity with model governance, monitoring and documentation requirements.
• Experience working with US-based business stakeholders.
