Job summary

Jobtailor in India seeks a seasoned Identity & Access Management professional to design, implement, and operate enterprise IAM with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). The role emphasizes SAML/OIDC integrations, MFA, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust, delivering secure access across applications while driving automation and incident management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Azure MFA, Conditional Access, Federation Services, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and Identity Lifecycle Management.
• Experience troubleshooting authentication and authorization in enterprise environments.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or Graph API.
• Willingness to participate in rotational shifts for a global environment.
• Nice-to-have: Entra ID Governance, Access Reviews, Entitlement Management, PIM, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, IIS, Apache, Tomcat.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Lead onboarding and integration using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Build and support authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access.
• Support Entra ID migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Graph API, REST API, Python, or similar.
• Implement IaC and DevOps practices for identity platforms.
• Collaborate with application teams and architects on secure authentication patterns.
• Administer Entra ID, Active Directory, ADFS, Azure MFA, and related IAM platforms.
• Lead troubleshooting, incident, and problem management; monitor platform health.
• Participate in 24x7 rotational support and ensure SLA targets.
• Maintain audit-ready runbooks and SOPs; ensure security, risk, and regulatory compliance.

Job description

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Lead application onboarding and integration using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM
• Build and support authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access solutions
• Support Entra ID migration and modernization initiatives
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Graph API, REST API, Python, or similar technologies
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices for identity platforms
• Collaborate with application teams and architects on secure authentication patterns and identity integrations
• Administer and support Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, ADFS, Azure MFA, and related IAM platforms
• Perform upgrades, health checks, maintenance, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production incidents and complex identity issues
• Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management
• Support disaster recovery testing and platform resiliency initiatives
• Monitor platform health using enterprise monitoring and observability tools
• Implement Zero Trust-aligned identity security practices
• Manage Conditional Access policies, access reviews, privileged access controls, and identity governance processes
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with security, risk, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in a 24x7 rotational support model, including off-hours and weekend coverage when required
• Meet SLA and operational targets for critical IAM services
• Automate manual operational activities and improve service reliability
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Azure MFA, Conditional Access, Federation Services, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, Identity Lifecycle Management, and Application SSO Integration
• Experience troubleshooting authentication and authorization issues across enterprise environments
• Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or Microsoft Graph API
• Experience working in production support and engineering environments
• Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and Identity Security concepts
• Willingness to participate in rotational shifts supporting a global environment
• Preferred: experience with Entra ID Governance, Access Reviews, Entitlement Management, PIM, CI/CD, DevOps tools, monitoring tools, Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, and identity automation/self-service solutions
