Job summary

Eliteexceed in Chennai seeks an experienced Entra ID Architect to design and own Microsoft Entra ID / IAM architecture across cloud and hybrid environments. The role leads identity modernization, security, governance, integration, and automation while mentoring IAM teams.

You will implement SSO, MFA, CA, PIM, RBAC/ABAC, and hybrid identity with Entra ID Connect, Cloud Sync, and ADFS, drive Zero Trust initiatives, automate with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, and produce high level and low level

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and IAM architecture across cloud/hybrid environments.
• Experience in cloud/hybrid identity, enterprise application integration, identity security, automation, and architecture governance.
• Ability to mentor IAM engineers and lead modernization initiatives.

Job Purpose

The Entra ID Architect will be responsible for designing and owning Microsoft Entra ID / IAM architecture across cloud and hybrid environments. The role will lead identity modernization, security, governance, integration, automation, and architectural initiatives while providing advanced technical support and mentoring IAM teams.

Key Responsibilities

Identity & IAM Architecture

• Design and own Microsoft Entra ID / IAM architecture for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Architect solutions for SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, PIM, RBAC/ABAC, and identity lifecycle management.
• Design and manage Hybrid Identity using Entra ID Connect, Cloud Sync, and ADFS.

Application Integration & Security

• Integrate enterprise applications using SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.
• Drive Zero Trust, identity security, governance, and compliance initiatives.
• Support IAM modernization and implementation of identity security best practices.

Automation & Technical Support

• Develop IAM automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Provide L3 architectural support for complex identity and access-related issues.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of critical IAM challenges.

Architecture & Governance

• Lead architecture reviews, technical governance, and IAM modernization initiatives.
• Prepare HLD/LLD documents, architecture roadmaps, technical standards, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and guide IAM engineers and support capability development.
• Work closely with cross-functional technical teams and customer stakeholders.

Operations & Availability

• Support 24x7 operations, including rotational shifts and on-call support, as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Entra ID and IAM architecture, with proven expertise in cloud/hybrid identity, enterprise application integration, identity security, automation, and architecture governance. Experience working with customer stakeholders and leading IAM modernization initiatives will be valuable.
