Job summary

Tecknotrove Systems (I) Pvt Ltd in Gujarat invites a seasoned mechanical design engineer to lead the development of assemblies and fixtures for simulator systems. You will leverage SolidWorks to create 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs, coordinating with Prototype, Electronics and QA to ensure seamless integration of design with system functionality.

You should have 7–10 years of experience in design, 3D modelling and drafting, strong GD&T knowledge, and hands-on prototype support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical assemblies, enclosures, and fixtures for simulator systems using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
• Create and manage 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs in accordance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Prototype, Electronics, and QA to ensure integration of design with system functionality.
• Conduct tolerance analysis, fitment checks, and material selection for manufacturability.
• Support prototype fabrication, monitor assembly processes, and resolve design issues during testing.
• Prepare technical documentation including design specifications, change notes, and revision updates.
• Work on digital twins, mock-ups, and simulation structures for validation.
• Participate in design reviews and implement improvements based on feedback from R&D and production.
• Ensure designs comply with defence manufacturing and quality standards.
