The Senior Executive Marketing Research will generate actionable market, customer and competitor intelligence to support residential product planning, project launches, positioning, pricing and marketing decisions. The role will combine primary research, secondary data, field intelligence and internal performance data to identify demand
opportunities and strengthen evidence-based decision-making.
Role & responsibilities:
- Track Bengaluru residential micro-markets and relevant expansion markets, covering launches, supply pipeline, absorption, inventory, pricing, unit mix, amenities, buyer segments and infrastructure developments.
- Maintain current competitor and project databases using credible public sources, site visits, channel inputs, customer interactions and commissioned research.
- Identify market shifts, emerging customer needs, risks and whitespace opportunities; convert findings into concise implications for company projects.
- Support new-product development and launches through market potential assessment, target-segment research, concept and product testing, location analysis and competitive benchmarking.
- Design qualitative and quantitative studies covering awareness, consideration, purchase drivers, barriers, customer experience, brand perception and campaign effectiveness.
- Integrate primary research, portal and digital data, internal lead and sales data, published reports, RERA information and macroeconomic indicators into reliable analyses.
- Prepare research briefs and coordinate partner selection, methodology, fieldwork, timelines, quality checks, deliverables and costs with internal stakeholders.
- Work with Marketing, Sales Strategy, Sales, CRM, Business Development, Projects, Finance and Analytics to frame business questions and translate research into action.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Marketing, Market Research, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related discipline; relevant undergraduate qualifications may be considered with strong experience.
- Typically 4-7 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, business intelligence or analytics. Experience in residential real estate, property consulting, consumer durables, automotive, financial services or another high- consideration category is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in qualitative and quantitative research, questionnaire design, fieldwork management, data analysis, competitor studies and executive reporting.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability; working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau and statistical/research tools such as SPSS, R, Python or survey platforms is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking, commercial judgement, written communication, presentation ability, curiosity and attention to detail.
