Job summary

• Perform functional testing of web-based banking channels supporting Debit Card services.
• Validate end-to-end Debit Card journeys across customer-facing web & Mobile applications.
• Translate business requirements into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Test debit card functionalities and integration with backend systems.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, product owners and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases and test scripts covering positive, negative and boundary conditions.
• Test Debit Card issuance, activation, status management, blocking/unblocking, replacement and renewal.
• Cover PIN generation/change/reset, card limits, and transaction enablement (domestic/international).
• Validate online and offline card usage, e-commerce and contactless controls.
• Ensure end-to-end transaction testing and clear defect communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of web-based banking channels supporting Debit Card services.
• Validate end-to-end Debit Card journeys across customer-facing web & Mobile applications.
• Understand business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria, and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases and test scripts covering positive, negative and boundary conditions.
• Test Debit Card functionalities such as:
  • Debit Card issuance and activation
  • Card status management
  • Card blocking and unblocking
  • Card replacement and renewal
  • PIN generation/change/reset
  • Card limits and controls
  • Domestic/international transaction enablement
  • Online/e-commerce and contactless transaction controls
  • Card usage preferences and channel controls
  • Card expiry and renewal scenarios
  • Lost/stolen card journeys
• Validate integration between the web channel and backend/card management systems.
• Perform end-to-end transaction testing and validate appropriate responses, statuses and error messages.
• Strong hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing.
• Ability to work effectively with business analysts, developers, product owners, client stakeholders and onsite QA teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain defects, testing risks and functional issues clearly.
