Job summary

EY in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Senior Test Engineer / Senior QA Analyst to lead test strategy for Payments, Cards, and Banking Operations within complex financial systems. You will own end-to-end testing, collaborate with stakeholders across business, development, and product teams, and guide automation and ETL testing efforts in an Agile environment.

The role requires 4-8 years in banking platforms, strong domain knowledge, and hands-on experience with test management and automation

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of testing experience in Banking & Capital Market platforms.
• Good exposure to Cards & Payments domain.
• At least basic experience in automation tools (Selenium, UFT, Protractor).
• Flexible in working any shifts / ODC environments.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer / Senior QA Analyst with strong expertise in Payments, Cards, Banking Operations, and Quality Assurance leadership. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end test strategy, test planning, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting activities.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Drive defect management and facilitate defect triage discussions.
• Collaborate with business, development, and product teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support functional, integration, system, and UAT testing initiatives.
• Provide guidance on automation opportunities and quality engineering practices.
• Perform data validation and support ETL testing efforts.

Skills Required

• Test Management: Strong experience in test planning, test design, test execution, defect management and defect triage
• Payments Domain: Good understanding of payments processing, ISO 20022 payment flows, SWIFT messaging and Fed payment systems
• Banking & Cards Domain: Experience in foreign exchange (FX) workflows, credit & debit card lifecycle management, card acquisition, co‑branded card programs, collections & recovery processes, dispute and chargeback lifecycle
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of test automation concepts, SQL queries and data validation and database testing
• ETL Testing: Understanding of ETL testing processes, data mapping validation, source-to-target reconciliation and data integrity and quality verification
