Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior data engineering leader to define Snowflake architecture and modern data platforms in Bengaluru. You will drive migrations from legacy systems, design scalable ingestion and sharing solutions, and ensure security, governance, and cost efficiency across enterprise data environments.

The role requires deep expertise in data modeling, ELT/ETL with Matillion, and strong collaboration with Workday and other enterprise systems. Hybrid onsite/offsite work is available.

Qualifications

Qualifications You Must Have * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 12 -15+ years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, and cloud data platforms. 6 - 8+ years of hands-on experience designing Snowflake solutions. Strong expertise in data modeling, and dimensional modeling. Experience with ELT/ETL tools such as Matillion with strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure. Experience with Python, PL/SQL for data engineering and automation with knowledge of CI/CD, Github, DevOps. Experience implementing enterprise security and governance frameworks using Immuta. Skilled in data mapping, conversion, transformation, and integration activities to meet third-party vendor requirements, with experience integrating Snowflake with Workday, Globalview and ADP products. Proven track record of contributing to large-scale project implementations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Experience with API-based and cloud-native integrations. Qualifications We Prefer Snowflake certification such as SnowPro Advanced Architect or equivalent.
