Job summary

Concentrix Hyderabad is seeking a Sr Snowflake Engineer to own analytics platforms behind network, customer, billing, and channel data. You will set modeling and governance standards others will build on, drive cost and performance discipline across warehouses, and act as the technical point of contact for partner teams consuming Snowflake data.

The role requires strong SQL and Python, deep dbt experience, and hands-on production Snowflake work on Azure or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and design decisions for Snowflake databases, schemas, warehouses, and RBAC across dev/test/prod
• Lead ingestion patterns from Azure Data Lake, Kafka, Oracle Fusion, Workday, Salesforce, and OSS/BSS sources using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and dbt
• Define and maintain core data models for Customer 360, network performance, and revenue reporting domains
• Drive cost and performance discipline across warehouses and cluster sizing
• Set governance standards - masking, row access, tagging per data classification and PCI controls
• Establish CI/CD and IaC patterns in GitLab; manage releases through ServiceNow and document architecture
• Define SLOs and observability; lead incident response and RCA for data outages
• Mentor mid-level engineers and collaborate with architects and cybersecurity teams

Role Overview

Senior owner of the Snowflake platform behind analytics for network, customer, billing, and channel data. You'll set the modeling and governance standards other engineers build on, drive cost and performance discipline across warehouses, and act as the technical point of contact for partner teams consuming Snowflake data.

Key Responsibilities

• Own architecture and design decisions for Snowflake databases, schemas, warehouses, and RBAC across dev/test/prod
• Lead ingestion patterns from Azure Data Lake, Kafka, Oracle Fusion, Workday, Salesforce, and OSS/BSS sources using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and dbt
• Define and maintain core data models for Customer 360, network performance, and revenue reporting domains
• Drive credit-spend optimization: warehouse sizing strategy, clustering, query profiling, and chargeback visibility
• Set governance standards - masking and row access policies, tagging aligned to T-Mobile data classification (Confidential / Restricted / USGCI), and PCI-scoped controls with evidence for audit and access reviews
• Establish CI/CD and IaC patterns in GitLab; manage releases through ServiceNow change and document architecture in Confluence
• Define SLOs and observability for tier-1 pipelines (Splunk, Nobl9); lead incident response and RCA for data outages
• Mentor mid-level engineers, run design and code reviews, and partner with architects, product owners, and Cybersecurity Syndicate on new platform capabilities

Required Technical Skills

• 7+ years in data engineering, 4+ years hands-on Snowflake at production scale (SnowPro Advanced Architect a plus)
• Expert SQL and strong Python; deep dbt experience including testing and CI
• Proven cloud data platform work on Azure or AWS, including cost management at scale
• Experience integrating Snowflake with Databricks/Spark in a hybrid lakehouse
• Track record leading data governance, PII handling, and audit/compliance readiness
• Demonstrated technical leadership without direct reports - influencing across teams, writing design docs, and setting standards
