Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency in Pune is seeking a Senior Manager – Project Management to lead end-to-end implementations across the organization, including GCC transitions and new technology/process rollouts. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, and ensuring delivery within scope and budget.

The position is hybrid, with a requirement to work at least three days per week in the office, and prefers PMP/PRINCE2 certification and 10–15 years of program management

Qualifications

• Graduation or post-graduation in a relevant field.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in leading end-to-end process migrations and transitions.
• Should be comfortable with an Individual Contributor role.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and cultures.
• Willingness to work in 12pm – 9pm shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end transitions to GCC from across regions and businesses.
• Create transition/project plans and maintain documentation to capture and deliver process performance and success criteria.
• Provide complete transparency and visibility to the senior leadership on the transition/project journey with risks/issues/challenges being highlighted timely.
• Follow the organization’s transition/project methodology to successfully transition projects with agreed scope, timelines and quality.
• Own, govern and enhance the transition/project methodology, as required.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to drive transitions, projects & change across the organization.
• High stakeholder management with both onshore and offshore teams throughout the various transition stages.
• Act as a guide and support ‘lite’ transitions managed within business functions.
• Lead special projects and process improvement initiatives for GCC.
• Manage transition opportunities to create new roles and service offerings for GCC.
• Take accountability for transitions & projects end-to-end and complete them in time & within budget.
• Exhibit strong project and process management skills.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Project Management team at MMA, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Manager – Project Management (Grade E)

This is a transition and project management role responsible for leading end-to-end implementations across the organization, including GCC transitions and new technology/process rollouts. The incumbent manages project planning, documentation, stakeholder communication, and risk management while ensuring alignment with organizational methodology and senior leadership visibility. They govern transition processes, support cross-functional teams (onshore and offshore), and drive organizational change and process improvement initiatives.

We will count on you to:

What you need to have:
