Job summary

Marsh is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our Noida-based IT team in a hybrid role requiring at least three days in the office each week. The successful candidate will lead complex Finance-system projects, drive planning, risk management and stakeholder communication, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates will have a technology-focused degree, 10+ years of PM experience, and strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a technology related discipline.
• 10 years of Project Management experience.
• Experience managing Finance system projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans including scope, timelines, budget and resources.
• Lead project execution, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Manage stakeholders and core/extended teams to meet project goals.
• Communicate progress, risks and issues to leadership and sponsors.
• Oversee resource allocation and utilization of personnel, equipment and materials.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project processes are followed.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, or budget and obtain approvals.
• Ensure timely project closure and post-implementation review.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our IT team at Marsh. This role will be based in Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

IT Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed successfully, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while managing risks, stakeholders, and resources effectively.

We will count on you to:

• Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines the project scope, objectives, timelines, budget, and resources required to complete the project successfully.
• Project Execution: Manage the project team and ensure that all project activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that the project stays on track and within budget.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, core team members, extended project team to ensure that project goals are met.
• Communication: Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and team members.
• Resource Management: Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure that they are used effectively and efficiently.
• Quality Management: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and that project processes are followed consistently.
• Change Management: Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget, ensuring that they are properly documented and approved.
• Project Closure: Ensure that all project deliverables are completed, and that the project is closed out in a timely and efficient manner.

What you need to have:

• Bachelors in a technology related discipline
• 10 years of Project Management experience
• Experience of managing Finance system projects
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to convey information clearly and concisely to stakeholders of all levels.
• Advanced skills in MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
• Good time management skills to be able to manage your own time and time of project team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Problem solving skills to be able to effectively identify and solve problems that arise during the project, including thinking creatively, identify potential solutions and make informed decisions
