Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Chennai is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead timing, investment, and cross-functional coordination from concept to launch for major vehicle programs.

The role requires coordinating with PD, Product Planning, Finance and Platform teams, using data analytics to forecast risks and drive on-time delivery across full-vehicle programs. A results-first mindset and ability to operate in ambiguity are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in automotive program management or cross-functional roles.
• Experience on at least one full vehicle program or equivalent NPD scale.
• Proficient with portfolio tools such as MSP, Primavera P6, Planisware, JIRA, Smartsheet, ASANA and Wrike.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, cost, and risks from Program Kick off phase to SOP Phase.
• Drive milestone planning and gateway reviews.
• Collaborate with PD, Product Planning, Finance & Platform teams on investment alignment.
• Use data analytics to forecast project risks, workload, and overruns.
• Influence outcomes across full-vehicle programs.

What we're looking for

• 1- 5years' experience in automotive (OEM/ Tier-1 OEM), product development, or cross-functional roles
• Exposure to at least one full vehicle program or equivalent New Product Development (NPD) scale
• Software knowledge: MSP, Primavera P6, Planisware, JIRA, Smartsheet, ASANA (portfolio) and Wrike etc.
