Senior Planning Manager – Construction (Hospitality Sector)

To ensure timely planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and residential construction projects by collaborating with internal departments, vendors, and site teams while maintaining quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance with project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, or Excel-based trackers)
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow
• Support Project Managers in preparing execution plans, milestones, and resource schedules
• Monitor project progress and update management regularly on risks, delays, or scope changes
• Maintain documentation related to work orders, purchase requests, RFI logs, and project reports
• Liaise between office and site teams to ensure alignment in design, planning, and execution
• Track material procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery to avoid site delays
• Ensure regulatory and compliance documentation is in place before work commences

Tools & Software Required

• MS Project / Primavera P6 for project scheduling and Gantt charts
• MS Excel / PowerPoint for reporting and dashboards
• ERP/Project Management Tools if implemented (e.g., BuildSmart, SAP, Zoho Projects)
• Email & Communication Tools – MS Outlook, WhatsApp (for field coordination)

Core Competencies Required

• Strong organizational and coordination abilities
• Understanding of construction sequences and building codes (especially BMC norms)
• Basic budgeting and cost control understanding
