Job summary

LR Energy in India seeks a Sr Manager – Piping to lead piping engineering review and coordinate PMC/EPC activities for CBG projects. You will supervise piping layouts, P&IDs, isometrics, vendor documents and ensure alignment with project schedules and quality standards.

You will coordinate interfaces across process, mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation teams while guiding site teams and ensuring compliance with project requirements and client expectations.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical required.
• Minimum experience greater than 15 years.
• Role involves lead piping engineering review and PMC/EPC coordination for CBG projects.

Responsibilities

• Design & Review of piping layouts, P&IDs, isometrics, piping specifications, supports and vendor documents.
• Review EPC/EPCOM contractor engineering submissions and ensure timely closure of PMC/client comments.
• Coordinate piping interfaces with process, mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
• Monitor piping fabrication, erection, installation, testing and hydrotest readiness against approved documents.
• Review technical queries, deviations, design changes and field issues and coordinate resolution.
• Monitor quality compliance, inspection requirements and relevant test/inspection records.
• Track pending engineering deliverables, technical comments and piping punch points to closure.
• Participate in client, contractor and multidisciplinary review meetings and provide technical inputs.
• Support review of as-built drawings, final documentation and handover dossiers.
• Provide technical guidance to piping engineers and site teams on critical project issues.
