Job summary

LR Energy in Karnal, Haryana invites an experienced Lead Piping Engineer to oversee piping design reviews and PMC/EPC coordination for CBG projects.

You will review layouts, P&IDs, isometrics and vendor documents, coordinate with EPC/EPCOM teams, monitor site execution, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues and quality compliance.

Job Purpose

Lead piping engineering review and PMC/EPC coordination for CBG projects.

Key Responsibilities

Review piping layouts, P&IDs, isometrics, specifications and vendor documents; coordinate with EPC/EPCOM contractors; monitor site execution and resolve technical issues; review progress and quality compliance; coordinate with Client/Contractor teams.

Job Role

• Design & Review of piping layouts, P&IDs, isometrics, piping specifications, supports and vendor documents.
• Review EPC/EPCOM contractor engineering submissions and ensure timely closure of PMC/client comments.
• Coordinate piping interfaces with process, mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
• Monitor piping fabrication, erection, installation, testing and hydrotest readiness against approved documents.
• Review technical queries, deviations, design changes and field issues and coordinate resolution.
• Monitor quality compliance, inspection requirements and relevant test/inspection records.
• Track pending engineering deliverables, technical comments and piping punch points to closure.
• Participate in client, contractor and multidisciplinary review meetings and provide technical inputs.
• Support review of as-built drawings, final documentation and handover dossiers.
• Provide technical guidance to piping engineers and site teams on critical project issues.
