• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-12 years of experience in piping engineering for EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong experience in piping design, plant layout and PMS development.
• Experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, Fertilizer, Ethanol, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy or similar process industries.
• Good communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Participate in HAZOP, constructability reviews and commissioning support activities.
• Support proposal engineering, concept studies and FEED activities.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Piping Engineer to lead piping design, plant layout, piping material engineering and multidisciplinary coordination activities for EPC/EPCM projects. The role involves delivering safe, constructible and cost-effective piping systems from concept and FEED through detailed engineering, procurement support, construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and review of equipment layouts, plot plans, piping layouts and routing studies.
• Review P&IDs, vendor drawings, isometrics and piping engineering deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, safety and constructability requirements.
• Participate in 3D model reviews, layout optimization studies and design reviews.
• Develop and review PMS, Line Classes and piping standards.
• Perform material selection and prepare specifications for piping components and valves.

• Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality requirements and engineering procedures.
• Support competency development and performance management of team members.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-12 years of experience in piping engineering for EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong experience in piping design, plant layout and PMS development.
• Experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, Fertilizer, Ethanol, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy or similar process industries.
• Good communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Exposure to hydrogen service applications and ASME B31.12.
• Experience in PMS, Line Class and Valve Specification development.
• Exposure to CAESAR II stress analysis reviews.
• Knowledge of hazardous area classification requirements.
• Participation in HAZOP, SIL and Process Safety reviews.
