Job summary

BharatPe Group seeks an experienced legal professional to advance velocity-led underwriting and scale legal operations for fintech collections.

You will manage cases from Lok Adalats, arbitrations, and Section 138/25 filings, coordinating with internal collections and external law firms. Ten-plus years in relevant legal roles are expected, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Post-Graduate.
• 10+ years of experience in equivalent or relevant field.
• In-depth knowledge of filing cases in Lok Adalats, under Section 138 / 25 and arbitrations.
• Detailed knowledge of legal collection processes in fintech.

Responsibilities

• In depth knowledge of filing cases in Lok Adalats, under Section 138 / 25, Arbitrations to enhance extraction from delinquent pool
• Detailed knowledge of Legal collection process in the fintech environment.
• Empanel Advocates / Law Firms for conducting legal activities
• Synchronizing with external stakeholders regarding ongoing Litigations.
• Liaising with various segment of legal entities for faster resolution of existing cases.
• Managing Legal Vendors
• Maintain Data with filing status
• Timely report to senior management on effectiveness of legal procedures
• Work closely with Internal collection teams to get support in identifying cases needing legal action
• Close coordination with Central legal team to get required authorisations to file cases
• Synchronizing with external stakeholders regarding ongoing Litigations.
• Execute legal tools for desired resolutions.
• Research industry best practices; make recommendations accordingly.
• Impact: ensure to extract maximum from NPA pool
• Challenges & Decisions: deliver results with minimum legal cost in fast-paced environment
