Resollect is a Bangalore-based startup that's fixing how debt recovery works in India. The industry has been stuck with clunky, manual processes for far too long — we're changing that with smart automation, clean design, and AI that actually does something useful. We're a small team with deep domain expertise, building what we believe will become India's most intelligent collections management platform.
The Role
We're hiring a Litigation Executive based in Bangalore to handle on-ground legal filings and court proceedings for our debt recovery operations. You'll be the person actually getting things done at the court level — preparing documents, filing cases, attending hearings, and making sure nothing gets stuck because of a missed date or a sloppy filing.
This is a field-heavy role. You'll be travelling across Karnataka, covering multiple courts and jurisdictions. If you're someone who prefers sitting at a desk all day, this isn't for you. If you like being on the move and getting things done — keep reading.
What You'll Do
- File and follow up on cases under Section 138 NI Act, SARFAESI, and other recovery proceedings across courts in Karnataka
- Prepare, vet, and organize all case documents — complaints, affidavits, applications, notices, and supporting paperwork
- Attend court hearings, track dates, and ensure timely submissions at every stage
- Coordinate with the central legal ops team on case status, updates, and escalations
- Travel across the state to cover multiple court jurisdictions as required
- Maintain accurate records of filings, hearing dates, orders, and next steps for every matter
- Liaise with local advocates where needed for appearances and procedural requirements
- Flag issues — adjournments, missing documents, procedural roadblocks — before they become problems
What We're Looking For
- Valid Bar Council license to practice law — this is non-negotiable
- Working knowledge of Section 138 NI Act and SARFAESI proceedings — you should know what a complaint looks like, what gets filed when, and how these matters move through the system
- Experience preparing and vetting legal documents for court filings
- Comfortable travelling frequently across Karnataka— this is not an office-based role
- Organized enough to track multiple matters across different courts without mixing things up
- Reliable and proactive. Court dates don't move because you forgot — we need someone who stays ahead of the calendar.
- Good communication skills — you'll report to our central team regularly and need to flag issues clearly
Bonus Points
- You've worked in litigation, recovery, or collections at a bank, NBFC, ARC, or law firm
- Familiar with DRT, DRAT, or Magistrate court procedures in Karnataka
- Experience working with legal tech tools or case management platforms
- Existing familiarity with court registries and filing processes in Karnataka
Why This Might Be Worth Your Time
- You won't be buried in a large legal team — your work directly moves the needle
- Backed by a tech platform that handles the coordination so you can focus on execution
- Exposure to legal tech and how automation is changing recovery operations
- Consistent, high-volume work across a growing portfolio — no slow days
If you know your way around a courtroom, don't mind being on the road, and take pride in getting filings done right and on time — we want to talk
