Job summary

Adani Mundra is seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to oversee electrical network operations and drive safety-focused maintenance across GIS, HT and LT distribution for solar facilities.

You will lead large teams, manage projects, and push for energy efficiency through new technologies and predictive maintenance, while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is essential; master's preferred.
• Strong background in power systems and electrical safety.
• 12–15 years in electrical maintenance and operations in large-scale industrial environments.
• Experience leading large electrical teams and managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the electrical network, including GIS, HT and LT distribution for reliable power.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and prevent outages.
• Develop energy-efficient electrical systems integrating renewable sources and smart grids.
• Drive cost savings by optimizing energy usage and implementing preventive maintenance.
• Lead and mentor teams, foster a safe, collaborative culture and ensure safety compliance.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders (C&I lead, contractors, suppliers) to ensure project success.

Job description

• Ensure electrical work complies with industry standards and regulations. Conduct safety audits to identify and address hazards, maintaining a safe working environment.


• Overseeing the implementation of digital tools and smart technologies to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of electrical equipment and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, prevent outages, and address potential issues proactively.

Resource Management:

• Optimize the use of materials, tools, and equipment for maintenance. Monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely supply replenishment.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track system performance and team efficiency. Use data to identify trends and improvements, and report to senior management on achievements and recommendations.

Energy Innovation:

• Develop energy-efficient electrical systems that integrate renewable sources and smart grids.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Work Experience (Range of years):

• Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in electrical maintenance and operations within a large-scale industrial environment. Proven track record in managing electrical projects, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing electrical systems for efficiency and reliability. Demonstrated ability to lead electrical teams and drive operational excellence.
